A childhood sleepover becomes a lifelong nightmare. When an instructor tells a spooky story about a man who vanished from their building, a dare is made. My best friend, Lucas, stepped outside for just a moment. The door was held shut. He screamed that something was out there with him. Then silence. When the door was finally opened, Lucas was gone. All that remained was the chilling, metallic scent of pennies in the air. Now, years later, the scent is back, and I know the thing that took him is coming for me.
