The Echo Gate

When my best friend vanished, he left me only one thing: an antique wooden box. He called it a gate to another world, a promise of ecstasy or damnation. I thought he was losing his mind. Now, a cryptic poem is carved into the wood, and I feel an irresistible pull from within its depths. The box is calling to me, whispering secrets of what happened to him. To find the truth, I have to step through the gate... even if it means I might never come back.
