The Caretaker of Nowhere

Stranded in the desert, Zach is 'rescued' and brought to a town that doesn't exist. An isolated apartment building called The Complex offers shelter, but its residents are... wrong. A mysterious landlord offers him a job and a new life, but the price is silence, obedience, and a small metal shard he pulls from Zach's neck. Now, as the new maintenance man, Zach must fix more than just leaky pipes. He must survive the horrors that dwell within the walls, or become just another permanent resident of nowhere.
