The Awakening of Steinwald

A freelance translator, Maxwell, takes a high-paying job in the isolated Alpine village of Steinwald, thinking it's his lucky break. But on his first night, he's dragged into a chilling local ritual to 'awaken' a corpse. The rite works too well. Now marked by the dead man's touch and trapped by a sudden blizzard, Maxwell must decipher the town's murderous secrets hidden in ancient texts before the vengeful spirit claims him as its voice, and the sinister villagers silence him forever.
