Clara, a librarian with a mission to find the perfect, clean romance for her elderly grandpa, clashes with Ben, a cynical literary author who believes the genre is worthless. But when their grandparents start their own late-in-life love story, Clara and Ben are forced into an alliance. She gives him a romance reading list to fix his writer's block; he starts writing a new story with a heroine who is suspiciously like her. As they plot a happily ever after for their grandparents, they might just write one for themselves.
